Nottingham Castle Museum & Gallery commission (2006)

‘The Imposition’, 190 x 160cms, mixed media on canvas. Commissioned by Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery for the permanent collection. The work responded to the renovations and architectural transitions at Wollaton Hall in 2006, a Tudor mansion and Natural History Museum belonging to the city of Nottingham. Incorporating sandstone excavated from under the Hall, the painting is on permanent display in the Museum’s Long Gallery.
